2014.12.12.M/V SANTA PAULA Rescues Sailors in Distress

On December 8th, 2014, M/V SANTA PAULA, a Bulk Carrier managed by us rescued 5(five) sailors on trobled boat in Atlantic Ocean.

When the Bulk Carrier was sailing in Atrantic Ocean from Turkey to Brazil, it changed course and sailed immediately to the distress point with calling from HM Coastguard(United Kingdom) and rescued all sailors (5 persons) on trobled boat during the race of open sea.

One of 5 sailors injured his leg, but the sailor is reportedly alive and recuperating.

All sailors rescued will disembark from the Bulk Carrier at Brazil.
